At the Ceramitec trade fair, Eirich, an expert in mixing and processing technology, will be presenting a wide range of solutions relating to energy efficiency and sustainability for the ceramics industry.
In addition to the well-known Eco-Prep (Economical Preparation) process for replacing energy-intensive spray towers, Eirich will be showcasing solutions for the digitalization of production processes and the intelligent networking of systems, which also ensure greater efficiency and are particularly sustainable.
The energy-intensive ceramics sector needs innovative solutions and developments that better position the industry for the future in the face of rising energy prices. Eirich offers a wide range of solutions on the way to a climate-neutral future. The long-established company sees the energy and technology transition as an opportunity and is thus facing up to the challenges of the 21st century.
One of the trade fair highlights is the energy-efficient and resource-saving process for preparing ceramic bodies – Eco-Prep. A significant advantage of this process is the considerable improvement in the energy balance compared to conventional preparation methods with a spray tower. The process produces a high-quality and economical extruded or pressed granulate and saves up to 60% energy, raw materials and additives compared to wet preparation. According to Managing Director Stephan Eirich, the reduction in energy costs makes retrofitting existing production systems profitable after a short time.
