A GPRS-based wrist type pulse wave and body temperature monitor for children healthcare is presented in the article. The device, which detect the pulse wave signal and temperature signal of children and send the data to the server as well as the cell phone of their parents, enable the parents to find out their children’s conditions in real time. The device has the advantages of high stability, wearable, low power consumption, high anti-jamming ability and seldom region limit because of GPRS.
