Existing Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) only stores picture from independent ultrasound diagnosis system, which results in high instrument costs and waste of resources, regardless of general hospitals or small township hospitals. We propose a solution to simplify this construction by using server module attached to existing systems that are used in the hospitals. The proposal is based on the concepts of Network on Chip (NoC), so that the data stream sharing and high-end processing is available in the server. Furthermore, existing medical equipments can be rebuilt to be more efficient and cost effective as medical terminal units.
