Abstract

Der Artikel vertieft sich in die gegensätzlichen Fahrradkulturen und Infrastrukturlandschaften Taiwans und der Philippinen, zwei Länder, die sich in unterschiedlichen Stadien wirtschaftlicher Entwicklung befinden. Darin wird untersucht, wie wirtschaftliche Faktoren die Einführung und das Wachstum der Radverkehrsinfrastruktur beeinflussen und wie diese Unterschiede die Erfahrungen und Motivationen der Radfahrer in den einzelnen Ländern beeinflussen.
