A Theory on Genesis and Spread of Corruption
Availing a service by an illegal means is usually termed as a corruption. This paper models roles of individuals in genesis of corruption and its spread in a society. Particularly, the roles of individuals, its neighbourhood associations and their social space are studied. Based on these understandings, a theory is proposed to explain genesis and spread of corruption, a society may assume for a given service. The characteristics of an individual include its need, anxiety in availing a service. It also depends on an emergent view on corruption a society projects on its social space.
