Abstract

In previous two chapters (Chaps. 3 and 4), VBLSs are found in bolted complex structures based on corresponding vibration sensor chains, and then nonlinear chain-type MDOF model is applied to analyse structural dynamic characteristics. In literatures (Chesné and Deraemaeker, Mech Syst Signal Process 38:569–584, 2013; Maia et al., Mech Syst Signal Process 25:2475–2483, 2011; Yang et al., IEEE Trans InduStr Electron 62:6558–6564, 2015; Jing, IEEE/ASME Trans Mechatron 19:171–183, 2014a), this kind of dynamic model is very common to represent steel beam structures, wind turbine blades and vehicle suspension systems.
