Abstract

Das Kapitel geht der innovativen Verwendung von 1D mesoporösen anorganischen Nanostrukturen als Katalysatoren zur Vermeidung von Kohlenstoffoxiden nach. Er diskutiert die gründliche Oxidation von CO und die Umwandlung von CO2 in Treibstoff und betont die entscheidende Rolle dieser Nanostrukturen bei der Verbesserung der katalytischen Effizienz. Der Text untersucht die Vorteile von 1D-Materialien gegenüber herkömmlichen Partikeln, darunter besseres Recycling, Aggregatkontrolle und größere spezifische Oberflächen. Bemerkenswerte Beispiele sind der Einsatz von CeO2- und Co3O4-Nanostrukturen zur CO-Oxidation sowie Cu2O- und SnO2-Nanoröhren zur CO2-Reduktion.
