Erratum to: J Porous Mater (2011) 18:289–296 DOI 10.1007/s10934-010-9378-0

In the original publication of the paper, there is a misprint in the very last part of “Results and Discussion” section on page no. 295 and the text needs to be read as follows:

Considering pellet skeletal density (2.6 g cm−3) and its specific pore volume (0.40 cm−3 g), a specific particle volume corresponding to 0.78 g cm −3 can be obtained. According to this value, a hypothetical CPO-27-Ni briquette can adsorb about 160 v./v. of methane (gas NTP volume referred to adsorbent volume). This adsorption capacity is comparable to ones reported for medium performing MOFs [19] and near to DoE target.

Corrections have been indicated in bold letters. Although the authors recognised that the paper was published years ago and main conclusions still remain valid, they recommend the publication of the revised section just to avoid misleading information to the scientific community.

In addition, the authors would like to thank Dr. Soumen Dasgupta of CSIR Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, India, who pointed out these mistakes and do apologise to the readers of Journal of Porous Materials, especially to those that have cited the paper or have used the incorrect data for further evaluations.
