Abstract
A net radiometer is described which uses two Y-cut quartz crystals to measure the net thermal radiation flux. The output information is easily converted to integrated totals by the use of a counter, since it is in the form of an audiofrequency. The sensitivity of the radiometer is 25 c/s mw-1 cm2. It is portable and well suited for remote operation.
