Hyundai Motor Group has opted for the Nvidia Drive platform in its future networked vehicles. It will be used in all Hyundai, Kia and Genesis models from 2022.

Korean Hyundai Motor Group and Californian Nvidia Corporation have announced that the Nvidia Drive platform for networked vehicles will soon be used in all Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles. The two companies have been working together since 2015 and are developing connected car operating systems for future models. The Genesis models GV80 and G80 already use Nvidia's Drive platform.

The platform includes hardware and software components. The infotainment systems structured on this combine audio, video, navigation, connectivity, and connected car services based on artificial intelligence (AI) and are intended to offer improved AI user experiences in the vehicle. Hyundai Motor Group has also introduced its new connected car operating system (ccOS). It is designed to compile the large quantities of data generated by the vehicle and its sensor network and by external, connected vehicle data centres. The centralised, software-defined computer architecture can be updated over the air (OTA).
