Porsche has presented the new 911 Turbo S from the 992 series. The top-of-the-range model with all-wheel drive has a new 3.8-litre boxer engine with two VTG turbochargers and is available as a coupé and cabriolet.

New track widths increase the width of the 911 Turbo S body to 1,840 millimetres at the front and 1,900 millimetres at the rear. The top-of-the-range model of the 911 series now also features mixed-size tyres. The 20-inch wheels at the front have tyres with 255/35 dimensions, while the 21-inch tyres at the rear are 315/30. The adaptive aerodynamics now include controlled cooling air flaps in addition to the retractable spoiler at the front. The turbo model features the obligatory rear wings.
A 3.8-litre boxer petrol engine in the rear operates with a newly designed charge air cooling system, larger and symmetrically mounted VTG turbochargers with electrically adjustable wastegate flaps, as well as piezo injectors. Its output has increased to 478 kilowatts (650 HP), and it has a maximum torque of 800 newton metres. The power is transmitted by the eight-speed dual clutch (PDK), which enables the all-wheel model to go from zero to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds.
Porsche 911 Turbo S can reach 330 km/h
The all-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) can transmit up to 500 newton metres of torque to the front wheels. The top speed is 330 km/h. The standard Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sports chassis has been lowered by ten millimetres.
A two-tone full leather interior and light silver accents with decorative carbon trim are standard in the interior, as are the GT sports steering wheel, the Sport Chrono package with the integrated Porsche Track Precision app and a Bose surround sound system. A leather interior from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is also optionally available.
