Abstract

Dieses Kapitel vertieft die entscheidende Bedeutung von Nachhaltigkeitserziehung im Unterricht und stimmt mit den Zielen der Vereinten Nationen für lebenslanges Lernen überein. Darin wird die Notwendigkeit diskutiert, Lehrer zu Akteuren des Wandels auszubilden, und das transformative Potenzial der Nachhaltigkeitspädagogik hervorgehoben. Der Text untersucht die Herausforderungen und Hindernisse bei der Integration von Nachhaltigkeitserziehung in Lehrpläne und hebt innovative Ansätze zur Überwindung dieser Hindernisse hervor.
