The behavior of composite cracked pipes under the effect of buckling is explored by performing a linear buckling analysis using the finite element method. The pipe is pressed under compression in the presence of cracks longitudinal, radial and inclined relative to the horizontal. The results indicate that increasing the radius of the pipe conduit to the reduction of buckling parameter and the maximum values are obtained for the lowest fiber orientations. The maximum stresses are obtained for the radius of 400mm. Moreover, the increase in the number of plies in composite pipe leads to the increase of the parameter buckling. The size of the crack, its orientation and position in the pipe are identified.
