The paper deals with network diversity within a local and global neighborhood framework. By means of evolutionary game theory processes, one studies the dynamic behavior of a population of agents who repeatedly choose to join one among N competing networks. Within this context, diversity means the survival of several different networks. The aim is to establish that the results on diversity depend on the size of the direct neighborhood of the agents. Small neighborhoods favor diversity, but the relationship between diversity and size of neighborhood is not obvious.
