Abstract

The non-selective collapse of the state of the quantum system S is interpreted as a dynamical process of interacting between S and an apparatus A. The selective collapse is interpreted dynamically as a consequence of two factors: (a) interaction between S and A and (b) the non-quantum collapse. The latter is nothing else, but essentially the well-known transition to the conditional probability distribution. In our interpretation this transition takes place when the macroscopic inexact measurement of some apparatus physical variable is made. For equivalence of the non-quantum and the quantum measurements the apparatus should be in a strongly quasi-classical state. Of course, certain mathematical difficulties should be overcome for actual con-structing the dynamical interpretation. The main difficulty is the necessity of averaging of the joint probability density with respect to some apparatus or interaction variables.
