Zusammenfassung

Die Psychopharmakotherapie besitzt in der Behandlung posttraumatischer Störungen bislang in der Literatur eine eher untergeordnete Rolle. Verglichen mit der relativ großen Zahl an Publikationen über posttraumatische Störungen und ihrer psychotherapeutischen Behandlung (Ebbinghaus et al. 1996) gibt es vergleichsweise wenige Studien über den therapeutischen Einsatz von psychotropen Substanzen.
