Zusammenfassung

Der Grundbaustein des menschlichen Körpers ist die einzelne lebende Zelle. Jedes Organ ist aus zahlreichen Zellen zusammengesetzt, die mit wenigen Ausnahmen (Blut, Lymphe) durch besonderes Stützgewebe zu Zellverbänden und Organen zusammengehalten werden. Der gesamte mensch liche Körper ist aus etwa 75 × 10 12 (75000 Milliarden) individuellen Zellen aufgebaut. Davon sind ein Drittel rote Blutkörperchen (Erythrozyten). Sie sind der am häufigsten vorkommende Zelltyp des Körpers.
