Abstract
A mineral policy is the sum total of laws, regulations, agreements, and customs that affect the production, utilization, conservation of, and commerce in mineral commodities. Each government must formulate a mineral policy that may be in conflict in some degree with the policy of several other nations. In other words, each country tries to look after its own interests.
