Abstract
The algorithms discussed in the preceding chapter enable us to manipulate high-order system transfer functions in the frequency domain. To obtain the corresponding time response involves the solution of high-order differential equations, using the inverse Laplace transformation, which is a laborious method even for simple input functions such as step and ramp-step demands.
