Abstract

The relative portions and length distributions of the elastically active network chains and dangling chains of the idealised networks composed from difunctional and trifunctional units — the ratio of the units has been varied — have been calculated by the theory of branching processes. The results have been compared with the viscoelastic parameters obtianed by the measurement of model polyurethane networks. The main results of the comparison are given.
