Abstract

In the traditional chemical kinetics, the rate of each reaction
$$\mathrm{A} + \ldots + \mathrm{B} \rightarrow \ldots $$
is proportional to the product \(c_A\cdot \ldots \cdot c_B\) of the concentrations of all the input substances A, ..., B. For high concentrations \(c_A,\ldots ,c_B\), the reaction rate is known to be proportional to the minimum \(\min (c_A,\ldots ,c_B)\). In this paper, we use fuzzy-related ideas to derive the formula of the reaction rate for situations intermediate between usual and high concentrations.
