Abstract
We are studying a daily life-support system for the general public that consists of a community care system (CCS) application and community information network (CIN). CIN provides CCS with connectivity between an individual’s smartphone and city government servers, and at the same time it provides access to not only members of the public but also Internet visitors. This paper describes the concept of the CCS, the prototype development of one of the CCS functions (services), and the network performance of broadcast and unicast communication among APs for a model of CIN using network simulation.
