In this chapter, we look back on the results presented in this book. As mentioned at the start of this book, the field of ACET is rather rich and diverse. As such, this book could only provide a humble beginning towards the creation of a more complete understanding of ACET and the development of an integrated set of instruments supporting ACET in practice. In this chapter, we therefore critically reflect on our experiences with the development of “large-scale” design artefact, such as an integrated method for ACET, as the research programme set out to do.We will conclude with a list of suggestions for possible follow-up research in the domain of ACET. This list combines both the reflection on our experiences in the development of large-scale design theory and opportunities for further research on the level of the specific components as presented in this book.
