Zusammenfassung

Start-ups werden den CSR-Diskurs in diesem Jahrzehnt nachhaltig prägen, unabhängig davon, ob diese gezielt nachhaltige Technologien auf den Markt bringen, rein gewinnorientiert sind oder die Skalierung gemeinnütziger Innovationen anstreben. Durch die Entwicklung innovativer Geschäftsmodelle und neuer Formen der Zusammenarbeit können sie einen signifikanten Beitrag zur Erreichung globaler Nachhaltigkeitsziele leisten. Gleichzeitig ergeben sich durch die Entwicklung und das Wachstum von Start-ups aber auch neue Herausforderungen für unternehmerische Verantwortung. Der Beitrag verweist auf aktuelle Handlungsansätze im Bereich Soziales und Institutionelles Unternehmertum, thematisiert jedoch insbesondere die Spannungsfelder, auf denen ‚nachhaltige‘ Start-ups aufgebaut werden müssen. Dadurch sollen Forschung und Praxis angeregt werden, sich näher mit diesem aktuellen Thema zu beschäftigen.
