Cybersecurity in vehicles is real today, and it will become even more important in the future. Industry, government and academia are heavily working on solutions in the USA, stakeholders are collaborating, and the first cybersecurity standards have been developed. UMTRI works on a variety of technical solutions, including secure software updates over-the-air, anomaly detection systems, cloud forensics mechanisms, key management systems, secure reference architectures, and secure platooning control algorithms. …
