Zusammenfassung

Eine oftmals vorgetragene und sehr einfache Antwort auf die Frage, ob es den internationalen Führungstyp gibt, besagt, dass es eine globale Form des professionellen Managements geben muss. Das professionelle internationale Management bewirkt überall dasselbe, egal, wo auf dem Globus man sich befindet. Diese Annahme stützt sich auf das Argument, dass vor allem der (globale) Geschäftskontext und nicht der jeweilige gesellschaftskulturelle Kontext determiniert, welche Art von Führung erfolgreich ist. Weiterhin behaupten die Protagonisten dieser Auffassung, dass in naher Zukunft die Globalisierung so weit fortgeschritten sein wird, dass das globale Business auch globale Kulturstandards in die Welt getragen haben wird, an denen sich internationale Führung orientieren muss.
