The problems of standard hip prosthesis are wide difference in Mechanical properties with bone, mismatch in geometry of marrow cavity& prosthesis and secondary proximal bone loss during surgical preparation. Followed by femoral osteolysis and thigh pain. Mismatch in geometry is eliminated in custom made prosthesis, as it is designed following the medullary cavity of femur of a particular patient and eventually it provides the angle of anteversion which helps Asians to squat, sit cross leged and will have better service life. It is a patient Specific Design and it is a full contact design.
