Zusammenfassung

In den letzten Jahren hat sich die Auffassung durchgesetzt, dass die EU als „normative Macht“ agiert und damit ihre Einzigartigkeit definiert, wodurch sie sich von anderen traditionellen internationalen Akteuren unterscheidet. In diesem Beitrag wird die Einwanderungspolitik als Messgröße verwendet, um die Umsetzung der sogenannten normativen Macht durch die EU zu untersuchen. Zunächst wird die Entwicklung der Einwanderungspolitik in der EU kurz dargestellt. Um die Diskussion zu konkretisieren, wird die Flüchtlingspolitik untersucht, insbesondere nach der Flüchtlingskrise von 2015, um zu prüfen, ob die Politik der EU mit dem Charakter der normativen Macht, d. h. der Achtung und Förderung von Normen, übereinstimmt. Anschließend wird das Konzept der normativen Macht untersucht, entsprechend der Erfolge und Schwierigkeiten bei der Entwicklung der Einwanderungspolitik. Die Gründe für diese Erfolge/Schwierigkeiten werden ebenfalls erforscht.
