Abstract

L'ubiquité et la mobilité sont au coeur de la révolution des usages que nous vivons actuellement. Les smartphones, qui rencontrent, malgré la crise, un succès énorme, façonnent l'informatique du quotidien, avec des services adaptés disponibles à tout moment, en tout lieu, en toutes circonstances. L'ubiquité et la mobilité sont devenues une réalité, avec l'apparition de ces nouveaux compagnons électroniques.

Disposer d'une autonomie énergétique substantielle devient une nécessité, qu'entravent les limites actuelles des batteries.

Les travaux dans le domaine du stockage d'énergie (« energy harvesting » via la pression sur la semelle, le sac à dos ou le paquetage du militaire en campagne) et des matériaux intelligents ouvrent la voie aux recherches sur les ordinateurs « portables » (au sens des vêtements que l'on porte) et des textiles intelligents.
