The 17th International MTZ Congress on Future Powertrains will discuss the powertrains and energy systems of tomorrow. ATZlive invites you to Berlin (Germany) on March 28 and 29, 2023. Register now! 

The congress "Powertrains and Energy Systems of Tomorrow 2023" deals with the optimal interaction of traffic concepts, vehicles with future-proof powertrains and infrastructure. The focus of this congress is on topics that describe the change in vehicle powertrains as well as the technological solutions in the associated infrastructure up to the provision of primary energy. Political framework conditions and digital solutions will also be discussed.

Shaping the future open to all technologies

The main topics of the congress "Powertrains and Energy Systems of Tomorrow 2023" are:

  • electric powertrain variants
  • battery development
  • bidirectional charging, charging infrastructure, and storage technology
  • hydrogen fuel cell and infrastructure
  • decentralized energy supply and data management.

Highlights

You can look forward to keynotes from Dr. Urban Keussen (EWE AG), Lars Hentschel (Volkswagen AG), Dr. Stephan Demmerer (ZF Friedrichshafen AG) and Stefan Gelbhaar (Fraktion Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) on the first day of the congress, as well as Dagmar Fehler (NOW GmbH) and Eric Ahlers (Netze BW GmbH) on the second day. A special highlight of the congress is the presentation of the "Sustainability Award in Automotive." The award, presented jointly by the ATZ|MTZ Group and consulting firm Arthur D. Little, honors outstanding examples of sustainable contributions to mobility.

The MTZ congress is aimed at executives and engineers as well as experts in industry, authorities, NGOs, and scientific institutes who are involved in powertrain development, the generation and distribution of hydrogen and electricity, the expansion and integration of the power grid, international markets, production networks, and supply chains.
