We developed a conductive textile electrode, coated with Silicon dioxide nanoparticles for easy long-term ECG acquisition, whose behavior is explained by a mathematical and physical model. Results include contact angles exceeding 150°, while the electrical conductivity was as low as 3 Ω cm2.
