Zusammenfassung

Die Auswahl und Beurteilung von Führungskräften ist einer der wichtigsten Personalprozesse in Unternehmen und stellt Personalentscheider und Organisationen vor große Herausforderungen: Die Auswahl ist mehrdimensional und muss häufig mit begrenztem Vorwissen und innerhalb von kürzester Zeit durchgeführt werden. Auf Grund dieser Komplexität bietet sie außerdem Raum für Stereotype und Biases, welche letztendlich zu einer Unterrepräsentation von Frauen in Führungspositionen beitragen. Diese Zusammenhänge werden in der folgenden Einleitung mit Hinweis auf die Vertiefung in den nachfolgenden Kapiteln kurz umrissen. Anschließend werden die verschiedenen Ebenen vorgestellt, auf denen Lösungsmöglichkeiten zur Verbesserung der Auswahl und Beurteilung von Führungskräften möglich sind. Zum Abschluss stellen die Herausgeberinnen die Beiträge in diesem Buch vor und geben einen Ausblick darauf, wie eine mögliche weitere Entwicklung des Themas „Auswahl von Männern und Frauen als Führungskräfte“ aussehen könnte.
