Audi is presenting the new sub-brand AUDI in China: These models do not bear the four-ring logo and are specially tailored to Chinese customers.

A joint development team from Audi and SAIC will develop AUDI models for young and tech-savvy customers in China. "Our cooperation reflects the spirit of ‘the best of both worlds’ and has been set up to jointly organize development, purchasing, production, and sales", said AUDI CEO Fermín Soneira. The "Advanced Digitized Platform" is being developed for battery-electric models. "The joint platform will be the basis for a new generation of state-of-the-art intelligent connected vehicles exclusive to China", says Audi CEO Gernot Döllner.

The first model to be presented was the AUDI E Concept, a Sportback measuring 4,870 mm long, 1,990 mm wide and 1,460 mm high. It is intended to provide a preview of three future production models that are to be introduced from mid-2025. The 800-V-BEV offers all-wheel drive and an electric motor on the front and rear axles, respectively, providing a total output of 570 kW (775 hp). The 100-kWh battery is expected to enable a range of more than 700 km, calculated according to CLTC. In the interior, a curved 4K touch display extends between the A-pillars, which also integrates the digital exterior mirrors. The new AUDI OS operating system, AUDI Control and the AI avatar AUDI Assistant are also used.
