Abstract

The article introduces a innovative wound dressing composed of cellulose and konjac glucomannan (KGM) with embedded silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). This dressing addresses the limitations of traditional cellulose-based dressings by enhancing water absorption, retention, and mechanical properties. The synergistic effects of cellulose, KGM, and AgNPs promote rapid wound healing, as demonstrated through in vitro and in vivo experiments. The dressing shows excellent biocompatibility and significantly accelerates wound closure, making it a promising solution for infected wounds.
