The chapter introduces a novel design for a compact rectangular slotted microstrip bandpass filter, addressing the need for improved performance in modern communication systems. The filter is designed using Sonnet Suites software, employing a rigorous Method-of-Moments (MoM) Electromagnetic (EM) analysis. The design is optimized through parametric studies, focusing on the dimensions of rectangular structures, gaps, and dielectric thickness. The resulting filter demonstrates excellent performance with a bandwidth of 1.914 GHz, an S11 of −23.24 dB, and an S21 of −0.018 dB.
