Abstract

The article delves into the hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) process, focusing on the conversion of Spirulina platensis biomass into biocrude under subcritical water conditions. It introduces a general kinetic model that captures the complex reaction mechanisms involved in HTL, offering insights into the optimization of biocrude production. The model considers key parameters such as temperature, pressure, and residence time, providing a robust framework for further research and industrial applications.
