Abstract

The article introduces a graph model that integrates pattern and query-based techniques for extracting answers in community question answering (CQA) systems. It highlights the evolution of CQA from traditional question-answering systems to user-generated content platforms like Yahoo! Answers and Facebook. The method proposed combines query-based answer extraction with dynamic pattern generation to detect answers and identify questions without answers. The system also ranks answers based on text quality features and uses a graph-based technique to reuse answers for related questions. The experimental results show improved performance in answer extraction and question classification. The article is structured into sections on related works, methodology, results, and conclusion, providing a comprehensive overview of the proposed system.
