Abstract

The article presents a groundbreaking approach to analyzing zero discord quantum states using graph theory, focusing on bipartite and multipartite quantum systems. It begins by discussing the fundamental phenomenon of entanglement and its limitations in indicating nonlocal characteristics, highlighting the significance of quantum correlations beyond entanglement. The study introduces quantum discord as a measure of quantum correlations, emphasizing its robustness under noise and its role in secure and efficient quantum communication. The core of the article lies in the novel framework for defining quantum discord using partial quantum gates and block matrix structures, which extends previous characterizations and provides a generalized condition for zero discord states. The article also explores the conditions for zero discord using reduced density operators and the edge set of a graph representation of the quantum state, offering a simplified method for assessing zero quantum discord. Through a series of theorems and examples, the study demonstrates the applicability of this framework to various quantum states, contributing to the foundational aspects of quantum communication and computing.
