A hardware-software system for monitoring the content of aerosol and gaseous impurities in the surface layer of the atmosphere, and its meteorological and turbulent characteristics, is presented. The composition and functional circuit of the system, and the structure of the software for collecting and processing the data of the automated system for monitoring the air quality are described. The system enables the content of substances, which pollute the atmosphere, to be monitored at a fixed point for route and subfacular observations.
