Abstract

The article introduces the synthesis and characterization of CaY2Al4SiO12 (CYASO) as a promising microwave dielectric ceramic. Using the solid-state method, CYASO exhibits a low dielectric constant (εr = 8.7), high quality factor (Q×f = 34,700 GHz), and adequate temperature stability (τf = −35 ppm/°C). The study employs XRD, TEM, and Raman spectroscopy to analyze the crystal structure and microstructure, revealing a cubic structure and dense microstructure. The research highlights the optimal sintering temperature of 1425°C for achieving superior microwave dielectric properties, making CYASO a notable candidate for advanced microwave communication applications.
