Abstract

This chapter introduces a novel aggregation operator and score function designed to tackle multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) problems within neutrosophic environments. The method is particularly relevant for professionals dealing with complex decision-making scenarios where uncertainty, inconsistency, and indeterminacy are prevalent. The chapter begins by discussing the historical context and evolution of decision-making methodologies, from fuzzy environments to neutrosophic sets. It then delves into the development of a modified aggregation operator and score function, which are specifically tailored to handle the unique challenges posed by neutrosophic data.
