Abstract

The rapid development of 5G technology has increased the demand for high-quality Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) services. This article introduces a multi-user MEC resource scheduling system based on Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) and Deep Q-Network (DQN) algorithms. The system addresses the challenges of user location privacy and resource scheduling in complex urban environments, where high-density mobile users and buildings create dynamic network conditions. The proposed solution models the multi-user MEC resource scheduling problem as an integer nonlinear programming (INLP) problem with location privacy protection. It uses the PPO algorithm for path recommendation and the DQN algorithm for task offloading decisions, ensuring efficient resource allocation and low computational energy consumption. The system is designed to handle the diverse mobility patterns and application scenarios of heterogeneous users, providing a robust and stable solution for MEC optimization. The article also includes simulation results demonstrating the superior performance of the proposed solution in terms of algorithm convergence, delay, task processing failures, trajectory optimization, and comparisons across different scenarios.
