Abstract

The article delves into the development of Al-doped ZnO nanostructures for highly sensitive room-temperature ammonia gas sensors. It covers the co-precipitation synthesis method, structural characterization through XRD and EDS, and the evaluation of optical and surface properties. The study highlights the improved gas-sensing performance of Al-doped ZnO, particularly at low ammonia concentrations, and discusses the potential applications in environmental monitoring and healthcare. The findings indicate that Al doping enhances the crystalline quality and sensing capabilities of ZnO, making it a promising material for next-generation gas sensors.
