Abstract

The article presents a new distribution, the Log-Extended Exponential (LEE) distribution, designed for data within the unit interval. It provides explicit, closed-form expressions for statistical characteristics, simplifying computations compared to other bounded distributions. The LEE distribution is applied to real data sets, demonstrating superior performance over existing models. Additionally, a regression model based on the LEE distribution is proposed and validated with real data, showcasing its practical utility in various fields.
