Abstract

The article introduces a novel method for predicting endpoint phosphorus content during converter steelmaking, highlighting the limitations of current mechanism-based models and the advantages of data-driven approaches. It discusses the intricate high-temperature physical and chemical changes during steelmaking, the challenges of predicting phosphorus content, and the integration of mechanism and data models. The multi-level integration method combines metallurgical reaction mechanisms with industrial data, using algorithms like Genetic Algorithm and BP Neural Network to optimize prediction accuracy. The research aims to improve the efficiency and quality of steelmaking processes, making it a valuable resource for metallurgical engineers and data scientists.
