Abstract

The article delves into the creation of a novel abrasive composite from waste cellulosic fibers and iron shavings, aiming to reduce environmental impact and manufacturing costs. It explores the factors affecting abrasive performance, such as particle size, surface roughness, and adhesion between phases. The study employs various characterization techniques, including SEM, EDX, TGA/DTG, and roughness measurements, to analyze the microstructure and abrasion mechanism of the composite. The research highlights the potential of this new abrasive in improving surface conditions and optimizing material removal rates, making it a promising solution for industrial applications.
