Abstract

The article introduces an innovative quantum image steganography scheme that enhances the efficiency and security of embedding secret information within images. By employing a modified fractional-order chaotic system and quantum circuits, the method reduces the number of modified pixels and auxiliary information, thus increasing the embedding amount. The novel pixel sharing scheme prevents detectable defects in the histogram, ensuring high imperceptibility. Additionally, the auxiliary information is encrypted before embedding, further enhancing security. The proposed scheme is capable of processing multiple pixel groups simultaneously, maximizing the advantages of quantum parallelism. The article provides a detailed description of the embedding and extraction processes, as well as a performance analysis that demonstrates the superiority of the proposed method over existing steganography techniques.
