Abstract

The article discusses the challenges of maximizing power output from photovoltaic systems under varying irradiance conditions. It introduces a novel hybrid optimization method that combines Grey Wolf Optimization and Arithmetic Optimization Algorithm to enhance tracking speed and efficiency. The method is compared with conventional and other intelligent algorithms, demonstrating superior performance in tracking the global maximum power point under partial shading conditions. The results are validated through MATLAB/Simulink simulations and real-time testing, showcasing the potential of the hybrid method in improving the efficiency and reliability of photovoltaic systems.
