Abstract

The article introduces a novel polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) copolymer with enhanced optical and thermal properties. The copolymer is synthesized by incorporating hydroxyadamantyl groups, which significantly improve the refractive index and thermal stability of PMMA without compromising its transparency. The study also highlights the potential of these copolymers in high-end optical devices and advanced nanolithography, making it a valuable resource for researchers and industry professionals in the field of polymer chemistry and materials science.
