Abstract

The article introduces a novel test statistic for right censored data under the new Chen extension, with applications in reliability and medicine. It presents a modified Chi-squared goodness-of-fit test statistic based on the Bagdonavičius-Nikulin test and applies it to the Exponentiated Rayleigh Generalized Chen distribution. The new test statistic is validated through comprehensive simulations and real-world data sets, demonstrating its effectiveness in distributional validation. The article also provides detailed derivations and applications, making it a valuable resource for statisticians and data scientists.
